Description
HISTORY
The Gallardo sisters have been producing this coffee on their family farm for 20 years. Located in the Chiriqui region on the borderland of Juruntugo to Costa Rica, the sisters’ farm sits at an elevation of 1750 meters on volcanic sandy soil. Accessible via a steep path, the farm is immersed in a preserved natural environment, surrounded by towering trees and cliffs.
In commitment to environmental respect and product quality, the Gallardo sisters prioritize a farming system known as “conventional,” incorporating an ecological dimension. While their farm spans 30 hectares of cultivation, it extends over more than a hundred hectares of forest and mountains, making the area unique with its mountainous terrain and lush vegetation.
