Mujeres Blend

HISTORY

Mujeres is a coffee that is part of Bluebell’s story. We created it to give visibility to the work of women producers and to support their role in the coffee chain. It has been part of our selection for years and, although its origin may change over time, we aim to keep a recognizable and consistent cup profile.

In this edition, the coffee brings together the work of several women producers from the El Dorado area in Boyacá, a region where coffee growing does not yet have as established a tradition as in other parts of Colombia. Larissa Aragón supports and guides the area’s smallholder farmers, helping to develop quality coffee growing in a territory that still has great potential to be discovered.

The farms are, on average, smaller than one hectare, so a regional blend is created that brings together the harvests of different women producers and represents the profile of this area.

PROCESS

The different harvests go through a washed process and are then combined to create a blend that represents the profile of the region.
